Endgame Credits Parody

We try to wrap up the MGS Performing Arts Awards Evening with a bang. I've had this idea in mind for a couple of years, and I really felt this year was the year to give it a shot.

Recreating the credits sequence of Avengers: Endgame would be no small feat, but as it turned out, it wasn't quite as complicated as I thought. All it took was a few emails back and forth and a lot of studying of the movements in the sequence.

Hitfilm may not be the first choice for VFX artists, but it has been my go to ever since I was very young, and it was the perfect software to get this video looking just right. From the animations, to the gleaming lights going across the space, to compositing and lighting the people.

One of my favourite parts to solve was getting the digital signatures to work correctly. Screen recording on my phone with the stylus I forget I have did the trick!

I had an absolute blast solving each little part of this endeavour, and the results speak for themselves.

This upload includes the crowds response, which was a truly overwhelming experience to hear live, the room was incredibly loud.

I don't think I'll ever top this end credits video, but I do look forward to my next idea for 2024, it will probably be a tad simpler than this one.
