Production season is here! I sadly was unable to get fully stuck into the production this year due to other ongoing projects, but there was one special job I had which I was super proud of - creating The Cave of Wonders!
The cave had to appear from out of the ground, the mouth opens, and then swallows Aladdin whole - all while being projected on a red curtain (not an easy colour to get light bouncing off!)
It took a few weeks of trialing projections, timings, different machines to get smooth operation, animation trialing, colour testing, and training the technicians. The result was brilliant, it really elevated that moment in the show and I was super proud of it.
