The Blessing - 100 Student Choir

As part of the 60th Celebrations of Middleton Grange School I had a pleasure of getting to decide a grand finale for their celebration evening. I wanted to create something that would surprise everyone, be a really strong finish and represent the entire school.

A recording of The Blessing became the obvious choice to end the evening. Over the month of September we recorded 3 school choirs & 15 soloists. We then snuck the shooting into our scheduled performing arts shoot days (this project was essentially a break from the other one for these kids) and all the while we were able to keep this a secret from most staff.

The response to this song was overwhelming. I'm so grateful for the opportunity and so glad to have contributed in this way to a special community.
