This years RockQuest video submission came from solo performer Flynn Adamson. I've known Flynn for 5 years, every year his music production skills have increased to a really impressive level. It was awesome to be able to film his RockQuest entry, although we'd be lying if we said we were stoked with the outcome - it was a tough shoot! Between setup issues, Ableton glitches and trying to get it done in-between performances of Shrek: The Musical on the stage, it was quite the challenge.
Flynn did the best he could, and we called it a day.
And yet, even though we weren't so sure about it, apparently the judges thought it was incredible! And Flynn would go on to not only make national finals but come 3rd in all of New Zealand, how good!
